There was never a 7 round magazine made for this rifle in the history of the world. One of hte more annoying parts was how you got a Geweher 43 rifle, but it's magazine only holds 7 rounds. This is not historically accurate at all. The same for the Germans Three out of four german enemies have an MP40. Not only was the PPSH very rare to begin with, but the 71 round magazine was ever more rare. Half of the Russian you face have PPSH's with 71 round drum magazines. Bullets drop off drastically at 50 meters, there is a huge delay between firing and the bullet leaving the rifle, this forces you to aim considerably far in front of moving targets to hit them even at small distances. My biggest gripe with the game is it's complete lack of historical accuracy in many aspects of the game. Speaking of sniping, the bullet ballistics are still just as terrible as they were in the first game. It ends up making sniping a complete chore since you can't predict your enemies movement (which is incredibly important in real-life sniping). You will often see the AI moving in erratic fashion: Facing one way, jerking around up and down, looking left right, then immediately zooming in on your and killing you in two shots. You get rifle "upgrades" but these upgrades do little more than add an extra zoom level or add extra rounds to your clip/magazine. There is also a severe lack of weapon variety unless you purchase all the DLCs. You are given tons of traps and other special weapons to use, unfortunately they really aren't necessary at all. Thanks, multiplayer fanboys, for ruining yet another singleplayer game. Both of these modes are utter garbage so we end up with a game that fails in all aspects, rather than one that is good in at least one. It seems they have totally gutted the singleplayer experience so they could add Co-OP and multiplayer. ![]() The sounds are rarely synced and you can hear the sound of a bolt action rifle after every shot you take even when you aren't using a bolt action rifle. The mission variety isn't the best in the world and the campaign is rather short (4-5 hours on normal difficulty). V2 falls flat on it's face in just about every remaining aspect of the game. Unfortunately when you hear about Sniper Elite, this is usually all you hear about since it's really the only thing good enough to tell others about. The highpoint of the game is back: Bullet-cam. The high points of V2 are it's great graphics, excellent effects, and good representation of 1945's Berlin. Unfortunately when you hear about Sniper Elite, this is usually all you hear about since it's really the only thing You can tell that there was some solid effort put into Sniper Elite V2, but it ends up being just another average game. You can tell that there was some solid effort put into Sniper Elite V2, but it ends up being just another average game. There's a survival mode with endless waves on enemies, a game mode in which you run a round an open area to collect tank parts to GTFO of there, one where one man has a sniper rifle and protects the other on the ground while he shoots and spots people for the sniper to take out, and the single player is a thousand times more fun when there's someone there laughing at the bugged AI and face palm worthy story with you (Like making fun of the fat kid in high school). The coop provides some very fun and interesting game play. I was surprised how much fun I had with the multiplayer, besides the spawn being FUBAR you can really get into it. Thank fully a lot of other people were fooled by it's attractive veneer and pre purchased it (like me), so there are always available mutliplayer servers. Thankfully you can turn down the frequency of these kill cams in your options, i suggest doing this as soon as you start the game so that it doesn't get old. Still, it's good news and shows the developers' confidence in the project's state. It's worth noting that Tony Huynh's statement does not confirm that MultiVersus will debut when the July Open Beta is available to all users. It’ll hopefully be permanent unless we find some really awful bugs- Tony Huynh June 29, 2022 What does this mean? The Beta could be a kind of Early Access release or a Soft Launch unless the developers find "really horrible problems." Specifically, the creative assured that the team hopes the trial period will be permanent. Tony Huynh, director of the project, responded to this concern with an exciting message that has already raised the community's hype. This week, a Twitter user questioned whether next month's Open Beta will last until the official premiere of the video game or if, on the contrary, it will end before. Although the official launch has not been revealed, everything indicates that it could be closer than we think. Some time ago, a Closed Alpha came out that could only be accessed randomly through a registry, in which thousands of players were able to try out what the video game would be and meet the characters and their combat styles. I use this method may be on 25% of my HDR photos. It seems to use more of what’s there, and it doesn’t create the halo effect that gives you that famous HDR look. Shot with the Sony A7r.Įxposure Fusion Review works similar to Tonemapping in that it will shift the exposures around a bit. The photo above was a single image tone mapped with Photomatix. You don’t always need multiple photos to create an image. This gives that surreal look that HDR is so famous for. Then the software will create halos around each tone causing a separation. Meaning, you can shift the highlights and shadows around so everything looks properly exposed, or shift all the tones closer together so everything is a Midtone. Then you almost always have to do a few little adjustments to get it right for your seen. I’ll usually cycle through a few presets until I find one close to what I’m going for. The software I’ve found that works the best is Topaz Denoise, although Lightroom works fine as well. Otherwise, the algorithms that the software uses to combine the images end up enhancing the grain into super HDR grain. I’ve come to the conclusion that you absolutely need to remove the noise from your HDR photos before you send them into Photomatix. Not that it was hard to use because it isn’t, the hard part is that technical learning curve of wanting a photo to look a particular way and having no idea how to get there. Every image or film I saw of the guy reminded me of someone who was burning every person, object, or image onto his retina for future reference. I always interpreted him not as empty but as lost in thought. Would it be too romantic of me to say that Warhol breathed art? His exhalations were a by-product, just waste material produced by unseen internal mechanisms. Pop revels in mechanical processes I’m thrilled by the ad hoc, the handmade, what’s mutable. Having absorbed and accepted twentieth-century modes of communicating blackness, I’m concerned with their seeming superficiality if that weren’t such a concern for me, I wouldn’t constantly be searching for another way toward art. The paper cuts in my work are all surface. The impetus for my working with silhouettes came from looking at the surface of things: black, “negro” images and objects. Of course, the trouble is, there’s plenty behind it. Warhol’s influence? It’s all too obvious, isn’t it? Just look at the surface of my work: There’s nothing behind it. I had never seen anything so grand and empty before, and so similar to actual life. My father, who’s an artist, said admonishingly, “He’s a pretty weird guy.” The gallery was filled with screenprints of soup cans. I saw my first Warhol exhibit when I was about twelve, visiting La Jolla with my parents. Pop alludes to the distressing possibility that surface is all there is-that commerce and bright color are the pinnacle of human achievement. This is very discomfiting, but Warhol as Jesus? Warhol as Everyman? His surface was just naturally absorbed into the culture at large, but what is so compelling to dedicated artists is his honesty. I keep on thinking that the fandom I’m alluding to is something more like worship. I really believe the myth of Warhol the boy, sickly and soft-spoken. There are a lot of angles and surfaces, but when it comes to Warhol, depth is a much harder read it lasts longer. The day after his death was announced I wore a black taffeta cocktail gown and a large bolero hat (à la Prince’s “Mountains” video) to school. By then the few cool people I had managed some limited contact with were like, “Sorry that guy you like died.” The nicer folks offered their condolences in my yearbook. Hurt, I was hurt, I admit.) Warhol died during my senior year in high school, at the height of my hero worship. Redneck kids who watched a little MTV and made the connection with the books I was reading (on semipermanent loan from the downtown Decatur Library) teased me: “What, do you like him, do you want to fuck that old guy?” (In A to B, Warhol said he didn’t find black women attractive. I didn’t want to be a superstar, I wanted to be near them. I made a mock cover of Interview magazine and put celebrated cool girl Valerie Kennedy on the cover, inspiring a bit of jealousy from Vicky Coleman, who worshipped Edie Sedgwick. Alone much of the time, I felt like Warhol. ![]() In a class called “Graphics” I designed a Warhol screenprint (taken from a Ray-Ban ad, I think) and produced about twenty T-shirts that I gave away to everyone I had a remote interest in, a bunch of cool kids I had crushes on. Redan High School, Stone Mountain, Georgia, 1985–87: Who knew who Andy Warhol was besides the host of an MTV show? I was reading POPism: The Warhol Sixties (1980) and The Philosophy of Andy Warhol: From A to B and Back Again (1975) when I was a junior. Of course, not a day passes when I don’t think, “Hey, I’m a successful artist, I should be having lunch with Hugh Jackman or Russell Crowe, not suffocating in my studio.” In a perfect Warholian world, however, I would still just be in my studio working, and the stars would come a-calling. Yes, human beings are worthless and life is slavery, but there is grace to be had in accepting that, loving what makes up our empty capitalist souls, plus a little tiny bit of death. While anybody can get motion sick, with sufficient motion, there’s still much left unknown about why some people are more likely to get sick on boats-and cars, and planes, and carnival rides, and tire swings. A recent study by genetics company 23andMe, published in Human Molecular Genetics, sheds some light on genetic factors associated with motion-sickness, supporting some existing theories about what parts of the body are involved in the phenomenon.
